Brenna Womer is an essayist, poet, and fiction writer living in Michigan’s snowy Upper Peninsula. She received her BA and MA in English from Missouri State University and is an MFA candidate at Northern Michigan University, where she teaches and serves as an associate editor of Passages North. Her work has been published by The Normal School, Indiana Review, DIAGRAM, The Pinch, New South, and elsewhere. Her essay “Wüsthof Silverpoint II 10-Piece Set” was named a Notable of the year in The Best American Essays 2017. This is her debut collection.
