Joseph Manning

Joe-Manning Joe Manning is from Louisville, Kentucky, where he works as a writer, songwriter/performer, and the Deputy Director of the Louisville Story Program, a literary-arts nonprofit. Manning was a Jackson Fellow of Creative Writing at Hollins University in Virginia, where he received his MFA. He’s published award-winning essays, columns, and features for The Louisville Eccentric Observer and The Louisville Paper, has written for Fjords, Miracle Monocle, and theRS500.com. Manning’s collection of micro-essays, Certain Relevant Passages, recalls his time a merchant mariner abord the M.V. Noble Star, is available from Dock Street Press of Seattle.
